PRIVACY & YOUR DRAFTS
Your work.
In your hands.
A plain-language guide to how this edition of the website and Project Clarity Builder handle information.
Last updated October 11, 2026
What you type in the builder
The Project Clarity Builder runs in your browser. It uses your answers to format a project brief on the page. The builder does not send those answers to a server, email service, or AI model.
Use general project information. You do not need to include student names, private contact details, or sensitive student records to make a useful brief.
When you save a draft
Choosing Save on this device stores one draft in this browser’s local storage. The next time you open the builder with this browser profile, it will try to restore that draft.
Someone using the same browser profile on the same device may be able to see the saved draft. Saving a new draft replaces the previous saved draft. There is no online account, cloud backup, or version history.
Start a blank brief asks for confirmation and then removes the saved draft from this browser. Clearing site data in your browser also removes it. If browser storage is blocked or unavailable, the builder explains that saving did not work; use the text download to keep a copy.
Copies, downloads, and printing
Copy brief writes the formatted text to your clipboard when your browser permits it. Download .txt creates a text file. Print / PDF opens the browser’s print dialog so you can print or choose a PDF destination.
Those copies are under your control. Anyone who can access the device, destination file, printer, or document where you paste the brief may be able to read them.
Information used to serve the website
This website is hosted on Vercel. Serving web pages and files may involve processing ordinary connection information such as an IP address, the requested address, browser information, and request timing for delivery, security, and operation.
The builder’s project answers are not included in those requests by this website’s code. Downloading a resource makes an ordinary request for that file.
What this edition includes
This edition does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, email signup forms, an account system, or a working checkout. Fonts are served with the site rather than requested from an external font service.
If features that collect additional information are introduced, this notice should be updated before those features are used.
